The Ottumwa/Wapello County Solid Waste Commission received a grant from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources that provided some additional concrete and an additional overhead door for the Household Hazardous Waste Building. This will provide residents a dry place to unload even when there is high rain events. It will also allow the hazardous waste contractors a better place to load hazardous waste.
