The Regional Collection Center for household hazardous materials and hazardous waste is located at the Ottumwa/Wapello County Recycling Center. Residents and businesses must schedule an appointment. Call the Recycling Center at 641-683-0685 to schedule a drop-off. This service is offered at no charge to Davis and Wapello County residential customers. How do you know if your material is hazardous? Check the label, if it has any of the signal words, “Danger, Caution, Warning or Toxic it is hazardous and should be handled with care.
