Sharps should never be placed in the recycling bin. This is a danger to collectors and recycling center employees. They can be brought to the Recycling Center in heavy plastic containers only, such as an empty laundry detergent bottle or bleach bottle. They are also accepted in the red sharps containers you can purchase at drug stores. Please call the Recycling Center for more information.
